I got a response from Norway Immigration about my working there situation. I can't work until my family re-unification visa is approved which I apply for when Dom finds a job, and the average processing time according to their website is up to 5 months. SOooo.... I wonder what the possibility of under-the-table jobs are there? Babysitting? Walking dogs? Or, start work on a book or something...

Start working on your book... unless you want pose as a Polish painter...
I applied for my family reunification from within Norway, and it took about two months. There are people who wait a long LONG time, but it seems Americans and Canadians get through rather quickly. I'm crossing my fingers for you! Now there's just the small matter of finding a job.... Oi.
BB - funny because I'm marrying a polish guy, and will have a polish last name, so that should work. right?
Corrine - this is great news, and I'll keep my fingers crossed!! Yeah!!
My family reunification permit took over 7 months. It depends where you move to in Norway!
